Bishop's Certificate

This certificate is presented to those successfully completing a course of training. The course is in three parts:

  1. a general course in Christian training;
  2. examining the Christian vocation;
  3. a specialism study in a variety of specific areas of Christian ministry.

The particular specialism appropriate to church music is Music Leading in Worship.

This certificate is a Southwell Diocesan initiative, not an RSCM qualification. However, the Southwell & Nottinghamsire Area RSCM fully supports this course of training.
